Down to the final three games of the season and the team still look fired up to win matches and set new records. Our final three matches look tough on paper with Arsenal away, Chelsea at home and Newcastle away, however this team want to finish the season with a bang and cement themselves as the best Premier League team ever.
Arsenal first up then and they are having a strange time. They have shown improvements since Arteta replaced Emery in the dugout however defensive mistakes are still their achilles heel. Their forwards can always score goals but with a leaky defence, it is a tough ask to win games.
Prediction: Arsenal 1 – 3 Liverpool. With a good forward line, Arsenal can create problems and score goals however with their defence and our attack, I expect us to score more.
Onto the Starting Line Ups:
This to me is our best team at the moment. With a fully fit squad, the only players that could get in for a run of games would be Henderson and Matip. The back line speaks for itself and remains a constant throughout although Neco Williams is now knocking on the door especially with his ability to play both full back positions. Keita seems to have nailed down a place in central midfield and was rested at the weekend to avoid injury issues. Then obviously we have the best front three in world football.
Christian says: ‘I do think it will be a tough game now that Arsenal starts looking better under Arteta. COYR’.
Joe agrees with this line up too.
